Home comes first.
Married for almost 25 years, we started to first homeschool over 20 years ago. As parents, educators, 'challenge the status quo' physician, nurse, business owners and 7 children later, we've been incredibly blessed to grow a life full of littles, middles, teens, married adults and in between. With a little bit of creativity, spoonful of commitment, and strong dose of of patience & grace, we are grateful for well rounded children and young adults. Ranging in age from 8-23yrs old, time together has allowed us the space to enjoy one another, and encourage them to use their natural gifts and talents, to seek and welcome new opportunities, and guide them through the ins and outs of starting small business’ - while working through schoolwork, jobs, & college degrees.
Learning is a lifelong process, and as we plant a seed in each of our children, the gift is in tending and watching it grow into an insatiable desire to learn new things - where we can celebrate the moments and milestones alongside them. Our culture would love for us to hear the message that we cannot do something new without formulas or boxes to check, but cultivating a healthy homeschool environment overflowing with care and commitment, (and yes, a fridge full of food) can bring life & freedom blooming into something beautiful for all who participate.
